I think this question really needs to be asked, but it needs some elaboration. The bankruptcy bill was a big wet kiss to the credit card companies. Maybe something along the lines of:
"What do you plan to do to strengthen consumer protections against skyrocketing fees, interest rates and predatory lending practices by credit card companies?
Perhaps the sheer magnitude of this lobbying machine will buy enough Representatives and Senators to make it impossible to change. Perhaps we need a law that mandates that that each Representative and Senator will need to grow a pair of balls (ovaries?) to help resist the lucrative siren call of lobbyists?

In addition, do you see a way of regulating banking so that the banks stop charging fees that were once considered usury?
