Don't You Agree That Failure To Impeach Is Even Worse Than Torture? (In Truth, It Is.)

It seems clear that while war criminals/torturers may come and go, to put the entire enforcement power of the US Constitution "off the table" by failing to impeach when warranted (now) is an even more damaging act -- both as a response to the ongoing torture and war crimes by this regime and as a precedent for future congressional impotence.

You seem to have started to recognize this reality when you said "If I were not the speaker and I were not in Congress, I would probably be advocating for impeachment." (7/31/07)

Perhaps it's time to take yourself up on this "suggestion" -- and confess to your own personal failings as Leader and Speaker (it's good for the soul) -- and then let the rest of our once-great nation get on with the Redemption of Our National Soul -- which can ONLY begin with Impeachment.
