What are your thoughts on the FISA amendment act?

The FISA amendment act allows warrantless wiretapping, and provides immunity to those that aided in illegal surveillance. What is it about this act that would sway 60+ people to vote for such an invasion of privacy?

Given that the Democratic President has voted "YEA" for the law how can you ask other Democrats to vote for him?

Again this is an interesting question but if you want to get anything done you should also provide a solution. Such as Citizens having the direct right ot VOTE on all issues from the WEB on secured hack proof websites and to be informed of all actionable issues before they are inacted "since when did the Americian people give away their rights to dissagree and speak out about it."

If OUR EMPLOYEES (elected and employed by the Americian Citizens), do not do what we as a whole nation require (this does not mean business interests) people should have the option to vote on all issues. Why not allow us to vote by the Internet once we have identified and proven our citizenship, or if someone does not have a computer then the city hall where they live could provide a site to vote online. Secure and in a safe environment untampered with! Then after telling us what the issues are we can VOTE or VETO. VJ
