Since you haven't done anything to protect our civil rights, will you please step down from the role of Speaker of the House and give the position to the best qualified person - Dennis Kucinich?

It's a nice thought. Not gonna happen, of course, but worth mentioning to her. I am so tired of watching our government being dismantled.

I think this would be a waste of a question. She's not gonna step down. If we're upset at her, we ought to run a primary challenge - even if it doesn't succeed, it could change her behavior. But asking this question at the forum won't provide any value, IMO. We can use the time for better questions.

She did have a primary challenger - Shirley Golub. Got about 10%. Either it wasn't a very well-run campaign, or was a weak candidate, or her constituents are not as angry with her as some say.

I don't know details as I don't live there. I expect at least in part it was not a very well-run campaign, as appeals for donations did not, to my recollection, make it clear that that particular primary was in June. That's one of the reasons I didn't donate - it seemed pointless, at the time I heard about it, if one assumed that primary was at the same time as the Presidential primary.

I don't live in her District but I did support her primary challenger, but it appeared as though she was invisible. No mention of her on MSM or anything but local channels

Yes, her primary opponent was pretty much invisible, for whatever reason. I did news searches on her from time to time, and the number of stories were mostly in the single digits. I'd like to know the story behind that.
