Isn't it a conflict of interest to have CEOs of private banks sitting on the Federal Reserve boards making decisions about bailing out private banks (including their own) with money it gets from us, the taxpayers?

I agree with you that in all areas of the Government that they VOTE their selves raises and disregard the PEOPLE who put them in office. I belive that our elected officials have forgotten "Just Who Is Boss!" Our constitution was made to protect CITIZENS RIGHTS but cowards an feel helpless fighting the government. Why?
They should not have the ability to create ANY LAWS or ACTS with out the VOTE of the CItizens. Do you agree their is too much "behind the scenes activities" going on in OUR government? I feel so strongly about this issue you've fired me up to do something about it. I worked in Banking 15 years and I hear what you are saying. Are they even to be trusted. Some banks think they are like above us some how. I want to cover this in my next book. Best of luck on your isssue. VJ
