Diplomacy with Iran

In 2007, you demonstrated the importance of talking to countries that are not our close allies by visiting Syria. Given that sanctions alone have had little impact on Iran's uranium enrichment and a military attack would be disastrous, what will you and Congress do to support direct, unconditional diplomacy with Iran to resolve the question of their nuclear program?

I can't see another alternative. We cannot bomb then into submission, we do not have the capability to do so. There oil supply is finite

and they do not have the financial ability to search, find, and dig for more. If we can stall w/ diplomacy, find out what it is they think they want it seems to me that they would be the better of not many good alternatives.
