International Justice

Is the Speaker at all afraid that the international community will demand that the Bush administration must be tried for war crimes, including torture, renditions, kidnapping, etc., and that she could very well be implicated and even found guilty for her complicity? Or is it her opinion that if she continues to prevent any investigation or prosecution of Bush and his henchmen, they will be able to exonerate themselves via the Presidential Pardon authority even against charges brought by the International Community?

    No matter the party, this team in Washington is a den of thieves. In any o9ther country, there would have been at the least demonstrations daily in the streets, but not her. Have we Americans become too afraid to even demand what is right for our country.
