It is time to take back out country. No more lies. No more excuses. Impeach Bush and Cheney and charge the administration and those who were part of the process with war crimes, crimes against humanity, and do it now.
Protect our Constitution. Protect our Civil Rights and Civil Liberties. Do something right for the first time. Stop the war. Stop the war profiteering. Stop the gutting of our economy now.
The FISA amendment act allows warrantless wiretapping, and provides immunity to those that aided in illegal surveillance. What is it about this act that would sway 60+ people to vote for such an invasion of privacy?
Republican talking heads tell us that if we put a bumper sticker made in China on the back of our SUV, then somehow we're supporting the troops. Meanwhile, thanks to Repuplican-sponsored budget bills, Congress continues to spend Billions of dollars a week in Iraq and Afghanistan. But if that's the case, why are our soldiers forced to beg for care packages that include such basic sundries as toothpaste, protein bars and ...more »
By removing impeachment as an option, you are an enabler of every crime this administration has committed. What are you afraid of?
My name is Jason Knight from San Diego California. I am a former Navy Linguist and was discharged under Don't Ask, Don't Tell. By not following your oath of office and by not being forthright with the members of the Democratic base, you've opened yourself up to becoming the cause for Barack Obama to lose this election. Because we can't understand why this president is still in office when he should have been impeached for serious crimes, there are currently strong suspicions that you too are guilty of committing and covering-up crimes against ...more »

Is the Speaker at all afraid that the international community will demand that the Bush administration must be tried for war crimes, including torture, renditions, kidnapping, etc., and that she could very well be implicated and even found guilty for her complicity? Or is it her opinion that if she continues to prevent any investigation or prosecution of Bush and his henchmen, they will be able to exonerate themselves ...more »
Since any rational analysis of our current global crises in both energy and climate have economic growth at their root, isn't it time to start telling people the truth about the basic unsustainability of economic growth on a planet of finite physical resources?
First off, dont you think you should seriously consider impeachment? It would show other crooked republicans they cant get away with crime. Speaking of crime, what is the problem with solar? So my question would be: Since you promised the people when you got in office that you wouldnt ...more »
I logged on for the first time to check out the questions for Speaker Pelosi. I just have a couple of comments for people submitting comments or questions on this site. I have learned a lot of interesting things in my many years on this planet. One is that someone is more likely to listen to you if you are courteous and respectful (unless it REALLY isn't warranted). Another is that no one will take you seriously if ...more »

oh, and a big thank you to Al Gore for providing cover for Pelosi. Why don't you stick with your powerpoint presentation and leave those alone who are trying to affect real change in DC. Just a thought.

How can we help policy makers on both sides of the aisle stop spending ...more »
