Where does a Soldier and the Army fit into the next chapter of America? 

Assuming Senator Obama is elected President and carries out his promise to withdraw Soldiers from Iraq within 16 months from his inauguration, where do I sit in July, 2010?
How does a Democratic President with a Democratic House and Senate manage the economic concerns of an Army that returns from war? In other words, how do you as the Speaker plan to deal with veterans and active Army benefits, conflict management such as Afghanistan, continued recruiting efforts, future R&D, and (personally, the most important issue) the continued politicization of the Army and the military as tools of your chamber, the Senate and the Executive?
