FISA Conspiracy?
Thom Hartmann of Air America Radio suggests that because warrentless wiretapping was happening as early as February of 2001, that the Bush Administration may be winning the FISA fight (and retroactive immunization) due to blackmail. That is, they have dirt on Democratic politicians and are using that to influence votes. Please comment on your experience with what the Bush Administration has done with all the data it has collected. Has it led to crimes being solved? Has it prevented attacks on this country? Or has it only enabled the Republicans to spy on Democrats?
