Absolutely right davism97 and not only that But Iraq was a Soverign Nation with a Soverign Ruler that Bus toppled while he posed NO physical threat to us. And I do believe it's just not a felony but his actions were treason.

It was a metaphor sir and it certainly is a written one. AND it does mean what is being implied here. the "Separation of Church and State." Without seeing in front ofme I think it something like the "Wall of Separation" But I'll give you a link where it is spoken of and How it's intent is, though I'm sure I did this before. http://www.usconstitution.net/consttop_reli.html#first As for you last statement, THAT is what we have been talking about here and that is what the intent of Separtion of Church and State is for and WHY we need to get rid of the Grasp the Religious Right who has a tight grasp on govenment. ALSO there is NO mandate that a President or any elected official be a Christiain to get voted into office! Any way it appears we are on the same page. These issues are very important and Ms. Pelosi needs to address them No Matter how confrontational the questions get. After all we've had 7 1/2 years of her joing the GOP at the HIP and we don't even know if she going to finish out Bushs term in office with out further giving into him. We need answers as to why and they need to be legitmate answers, no hemming and hawing. I'm all for having Ms. Pelosi replaced as a leader of the Democrat Party and she, like Diane Feinstein Needs to be Censured! SHe has been actin like the GOP are her constiutiens instead of Democrats! Her actions Do NOT match her words!

I hate to bring this up again BUT this is a Religious Right issue and it's their agenda that keeps creeping up in our government issues. They are the ones who keep forcing their religious beliefs in our faces. And if Nancy Pelosi is agreeing with this, or any other Senator it's because the Right Wing have them in their pocket!

All of those issues you are referring to here is being Pushed By the Religious Right. Seaparation of Church and State is a Separate issue that also needs attention. We want our leaders to lead from our Constitution and Rule of Law not by how a religious Group thinks we should govern. So yes this is an important issue.

Marv I'm a little confused by your statement. I feel strongly that Freedom of Religion should be included in our country JUST not used by One religious group to govern our people. Everyone is entitled to believe in what they choose or NOT believe. That's the Freddom of Religion our Constitution guarantees us. I see no reason to take out the word GOD from our money or even from the Pledge of Alligience for that matter, even though it was added MUCH later when we entered into the cold war with Russia. The word God simply states we believe in a Supreme being and it doesn't denote Which one that is. What "majority" of us are saying is that the Religious Right needs to butt out of government affairs because there is this Separation of Church and State and there should Not be one religion over another..

Excellent question and one that needs to be answerd and one that should go to the top of the list to be answered ASAP!! We need to know that Congress will be the ones to give the NOD and we know, by the millions of people writing in and talking with their elected officials that- that answer would be a resounding NO!!!

Bobsled I agree with you BUT if it keeps bringing up the IMPEACHMENT question, I'm happy! That is a very important question along with the FISA question. We need honest and direct answers as to why. WHY did only 24 Senators vote NAY on FISA??? ARE Republicans and the BUSH administration holding our Democrat Senators and COngresspeople HOSTAGE for some reason or another?

Ms. Pelosi and the rest of you in Congress, this is one of those rare times when you are listening to the people and saying NO to opening Drilling, especially on our coasts. We have been telling Mr. Bush and Congress, NO, since his silly notion has begun, that this will help our economy. The only people who will benift will be be the oil companies!

Dennis Kuchinich has been perssitant in trying to bring Impeachment BACK to the table and he finally brought all 35, that's THIRTY FIVE,Ms. Pelosi, articles of Imeachment and Congress, especially Democrats, but for a handful, YAWNED!!! Dennis spent 4 hours talking about these on the floor of the Senate! We wanted George Bush Impeached from the very beginning when Democrats took hold but he prevailed as Congress sat back and did Nothing for 8 years and trillions of dollars later. YOU need to explain your self to us and the country for your behavior!
